About Little Folks

The ethos and aims of the out of school service provided by Little Folks:

The club aims to help children develop their full potential through positive, social, emotional, physical and intellectual experiences:-

This is achieved by providing a stable and relaxed environment where parents and carers feel satisfied to leave their children.

The nursery and club ensure and maintain high standards of child care in which there is provision for parents and carers to participate in the planning of the scheme, so that all feel a sense of adequacy and fulfilment.

The scheme values ideas from different backgrounds-racial, cultural, religious and linguistic and are implemented into the planning of the scheme, children, parents and careers view are recognised and respected.

Children’s individual needs e.g. disabilities, gender and cultural preferences are reflected in the service.

The club aims to provide a safe, friendly and secure environment where a variety of activities are offered including arts, crafts, use of a computer, games, sports and drama. The children are also given the opportunity to relax or read in a quiet area.
